Danger to British children from islam as RE is to be brought into the national curriculum

The government is expected to launch a consultation in September after agreeing in 2025 to bring RE into the national curriculum for the first time. Although the subject has been compulsory in schools in England and Wales since the 1988 Education Reform Act, it is currently taught through locally agreed syllabuses developed by Standing Advisory Councils on Religious Education (SACREs) — local bodies made up of teachers, councillors and faith representatives who advise local authorities on RE in schools — leading to significant variation across the country.

Muslim leaders claim that this will allow islam to challenge some of the negative representations they experience in  the press.  That children will be able to critically evaluate what is happening.

Resist Comment.  There is a real danger to British school children who may be exposed to the teachings of islam.

  1. Will the curriculum include the issues of gang-rape by muslim men on under-aged girls?
  2. Will the curriculum discuss the evil and destructive actions of islam through the theocracy in Iran, ISIS, the Taleban in Afghanistan, Hammas, Hezbolah and Boko Haram?
  3. Will the curriculum discuss so-called "honour killings" by the muslim communities?
  4. Will the curriculum discuss islam's disdain and barbarity towards women?

I would not object to children being taught RE.  But I certainly would object to islam being part of the curriculum.  islam is evil: it has not place in British culture.
