Stop Pakistan’s foreign aid until it takes back rapist, say MPs
Labour must stop all foreign aid to Pakistan and impose visa sanctions until it takes back the ringleader of the Rochdale grooming gang, Reform UK and the Tories have said. The Government is trying to deport Shabir Ahmed to Pakistan, his country of birth, following his release from prison after serving 14 years of a 22-year sentence for 30 child rape offences. Pakistan has said it will not take Ahmed back and has instead sought to blame Britain for his offences, suggesting their root causes lay in the UK where he “grew up, was raised, groomed and, unfortunately, spoiled”. It has emerged that the Government has signed off a £153m three-year foreign aid package for Pakistan, despite No 10 insisting it was doing “everything possible” to deport Ahmed. Richard Tice, Reform’s deputy leader, wrote on X: “Pakistan. No foreign aid. No visas. Until you take back rapist Ahmed.” Zia Yusuf, the party’s home affairs spokesman, said: “The fact Labour plans to continue to send them aid is proof the political class do not care about the British people. Reform will stop foreign aid and visas issued to Pakistan immediately.” Resist comment.  Ahmed wasn't spoiled in this country.  The fact is he's a muslim - that's what muslims do: they gang-rape under-aged girls and commit acts of terrorism.  We should not be sending any money to Pakistan or any muslim countries.  If Pakistan won't take them back, put them on the next flight to Iran: let them deal with him and all muslim rapists.
