Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed El-Tayeb received Montenegro President Jakov Milatović and the first lady on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation, reaffirming that Islam is a religion of mercy and rejecting claims that it promotes violence.

Resist comment.  We keep hearing these claims from muslims.  Again, we ask how do muslims explain the gang rape of underage girls by islamic men?  How do they explain the acts of terrorism and violence in the UK and Europe?  How do muslims explain the actions of ISIS, the Taliban, the theocracy in Iran, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab and al-Qaeda?  It's difficult to see how muslims keep making these claims when the evidence clearly shows otherwise.
