Sadiq Khan has been accused of calling victims of London crime liars. The mayor of London said the city had been subjected to a “relentless and unprecedented attack of lies and hatred” on social media, describing online disinformation as a “global scourge”.

A host of celebrities have spoken out about their fears of rising theft in the capital in recent years. There were nearly 100,000 thefts or attempted thefts in the capital last year, compared with around 45,000 in 2019, according to Home Office data.

However, Sir Sadiq blamed social media “misinformation” for putting off tourists. Laila Cunningham, Reform UK’s candidate for London mayor, responded: “If the Mayor of London wants to encourage more tourism, he should deal with the crime he has allowed to spiral out of control instead of suggesting that victims of crime are liars.”  

Resist Comment.  We cannot give any credibility to what Khan says.  He was consistently asked to address the issue of muslim paedophilia: he consistently refused to answer.  How can anyone trust this person who will not enter into a conversation about muslim depravity?  How can we trust him when he calls people liars?  The answer is, we simply can never trust him.
