A recently published book, Mosul Eye: A Scholar's Clandestine War Against ISIS by Omar Mohammed, tells of the brutal and sadistic heart of islam under the rule of islamic state.
The book describes the islamic state's take over of Mosul in Iraq. This is not only a chilling record of the methodical application of terror: but a warning to the rest of the world of the potential of islam.
Built around the ruins of Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian Empire, and straddling the river Tigris, Mosul was in its time among the greatest of cities of the ancient world. Its earliest evidence of settlement goes back 6,000 years BC, and the passage of the city's history is told in the wealth of archaeological sites left behind by civilizations that shaped the Middle East.
Yet in the eyes of isis, the statues shrines and temples that predated islam were regarded as idolatry and fit for destruction. There followed a cultural holocaust.
The death cult that exalted in the triumph of pain and cruelty was also a pedantic regulator. It seized Mosul with a draft constitution already drawn up, and a terror version of a civil service that reaped taxes from the populace as if they were a human field to be harvested. Those who refused to pay, like the city's Christian population, faced banishment, death or conversion.
Mosulis were harvested for their lives too. isis compiled lists of who they might want to imprison or behead. Many former members of the Iraqi government - officials, police and soldiers had registered with the islamic state's council of repentance in the hope of amnesty, but were instead compiled as a data base for future killing.
The true bestiality of the islamic regime became apparent in what happened in the Mosul hospital. A Dr detailed the cases of dozens of Yazidi girls, victims of multiple rape by isis members, brought in for forced abortions or sterilization. 12 Yazidi girls younger than 15 had died in the hospital, the doctor reported, due to the savagery of the sexual violence against them.
Other details report executions for homosexuality, amputations of children's limbs for theft, executions of men thrown from high buildings.
These are just some of the atrocities detailed by one person.
Resist comment. Some might think that the animals in isis are the extreme end of islam. Don't believe it! In the UK, the gang-rape of young girls by muslims and terrorist outrages by muslims, are the signs of isis just below the surface. We need to get rid of all signs of islam from this country. islam is a truly evil death cult and has no place in this country.
