Shabama Mahmood claimed, quite rightly, in her Monday's commons statatement, that the issue of immigration is "tearing the country apart".  We think this is an understatement.  The country is already torn apart.  Allowing a period of 20-years before permanent resident status can be given will not prevent the boats coming across the channel.  This issue simply deflects from the growing influence of Muslim ideology in this country.  WHEN WILL THE COUNTRY WAKE UP TO WHAT IS HAPPENING?
